Susan R. Sorrell-notary and artist

"Weddings In A Flash" is the brain child of Susan Sorrell. When Susan was planning her own wedding in 2006, she kept running into road blocks. Her church was charging to use the small chapel (500.00) and they wanted her and John to go to their counselor for pre-martial counseling...which was an extra 250.00. (And then add in the photographer, cake, reception, dress, invitations, etc.) The cost just kept going up and they wanted to spend their money on a cool honeymoon and art supplies. Both of them had done the large weddings the first time around and didn't want to get into the planning what a customary wedding includes.

Susan and John had been together for 6 years and this was both of their second marriages. Since they wanted to include their families and didn't want to spend a wad of cash, Susan had this idea. What if you could hire a notary and photographer in one package and they could meet you at a special place for the wedding? Well, there was nothing like that in Greenville, SC and Susan decided to get her notary license and have her friend Ann Taylor join her in this venture. What a great way for couples to tie the knot and spend their money on a honeymoon or down payment on a house!

So, if you and your sweetie love to hike and want to get married at Table Rock or want to get married at the Cleveland Park we can do that. We can travel to Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island or Charleston, SC, but extra charges will be added for travel and hotel stay. Also, theme weddings are becoming popular and we can accommodate those too, but you supply the costumes. Ann and Susan want to make this as easy as possible for the couple, so let us know what you have in mind and we can toss out ideas too.
